“My patients and I are partners in their recovery.”

My patients and I are partners in their recovery. My role is to not only fix their mechanical problems, but to also serve as their captain, guiding them through their recovery.

The shoulder is my area of expertise, so I often see patients referred by other surgeons. It is a complicated, elegant joint that is inherently unstable. Shoulder repair, reconstruction and replacement require an understanding of the physiology, detailed surgical techniques and a careful approach to recovery.

Expertise worth cheering about

Dr. Le performed two shoulder surgeries on Megan Taylor of Hanford.
The cheerleader had been sidelined by a hereditary trait that caused her shoulders to dislocate.
“I feel stronger than I did before,” Megan says, and she is back to her active life. more>

Saying goodbye to pain

Gary Benjamin regained independence, thanks to knee surgery at the hands of Dr. Le. Cartilage in his knees had deteriorated, leaving bone on bone. Today, he is still able to “walk a mile to buy groceries.”

Mary Akin

Back up to speed

When Mary Akin’s shoulder, and then her knee, kept her from her favorite activities, she looked to Dr. Le to help. Dr. Le repaired her rotator cuff and later replaced her knee following a meniscus tear. more>
