The Most Common Causes Of Hip Injury

Hip injuries most commonly are a result of a repetitive action but there are some additional causes you should know:

  • Trauma can occur during car accidents or when playing contact sports such as football or hockey.

  • Repetitive overuse from activities such as long-distance running or the sudden twisting of the torso when playing sports like golf.

  • Hip structural issues that accelerate the normal wear and tear placed on the hips can occur at birth.

  • The inevitable process of increased age.
